Dave Rose to go to the Utah Utes in 2012.

As always it is interesting when you hear a bit of news that has not been confirmed.  It has been something that has been passed around the media a bit, but no real truth to it.  I thought it would be interesting to hear anyone's take on this.

In my mind, BYU going independent and not caring about any sport but football was a sad things.  Taking Dave Rose and putting him and his team West Coast Conference (WCC) going forward is a negative and almost a slap in the face.  So think this, Dave Rose loses one of his best players to an Honor Code violation.  At Utah, that will not happen.  Dave Rose can choose between the PAC-12 or the WCC.  Dave Rose can add to a long tradition of basketball or still with a Jimmerless team having to rebuild in a bad way.  Potentially more money and better facilities.
