OGDEN, UTAH - Weber State University quarterback, CAMERON HIGGINS (6-2, 215 Sr. / Hawaii Kai, Hawaii) is among 20 players, including five from the Big Sky Conference, named to the initial 2010 WALTER PAYTON TROPHY Watch List. The Sports Network, which sponsors the trophy, released the list.
Higgins finished 10th in last years Payton Trophy balloting and was a finalist as well in 2008. Higgins enters the 2010 season with 9,762 career passing yards and 83 career touchdown passes. He needs 2,446 passing yards to pass Jamie Martin and become WSUs career leader, and needs 2,855 passing yards to become the all-time leader in the Big Sky Conference.
