SUU Gymnastics Hosting First of Two Final Regular Season Home Meets
Southern Utah University gymnastics will host Auburn and Brigham Young on Monday night in the first of two final regular season home meets for the Thunderbirds this season.
SUU will be coming off its third-highest mark of the season, scoring a 194.650 in a defeat at Boise State on Friday. The total included an individual title for Shannon Coughlin on the floor exercise, marking at least one individual title for the Thunderbirds in each meet this season.
Season highs for the Thunderbirds have come from Bailey Pendley on vault (9.850), Michaela Chernoch and Alyssa Click on bars with 9.825s, Ari Lamb on the balance beam with a 9.925 and Coughlin with a 9.900 on the floor exercise.

About Auburn: Auburn University will enter the meet on Monday night riding a two-meet winning streak with victories at Brigham Young University and a home win against Pittsburgh. The Tigers have posted back-to-back team scores in the 195s over the two-meet stretch.
Toi Garcia has posted the season-best mark for the Tigers on the vault, scoring a 9.925. Petrina Yokey has matched the 9.925 on bars, leading Auburn on that event with Rachel Inniss tallying a season-high 9.925 on the floor exercise. Inniss, Allyson Sandusky and Kylie Shields have notched the season high for AU on beam with matching 9.900s.
About Brigham Young: Brigham Young University has lost two meets heading into the contest on Monday night. Both losses came at home with defeats against Arizona and Auburn over the past two weekends.
BYU has yet to earn higher than a 9.875 this year as season highs for the Cougars have come from Natalie Eyre and Haylee Rollins on vault with matching 9.875s, Madeleine Johnson and Rollins on bars with 9.875s, Krysten Koval with a 9.875 on beam and Rollins with a 9.875 on floor.
