Temperatures in the mid 80s, combined with high humidity, sent players, coaches and media members searching for water on numerous occasions.
I liked what I saw today, said McBride. Strength wise we are in tremendous shape. Running wise I was a little disappointed, but a lot of new players have come from sea level and it always takes them a week to adjust.
McBride gave praise to his quarterbacks who looked sharp in the helmet-only drills and liked what he saw in his offensive line. On the defensive side he was impressed how quickly some of the young defensive lineman were staying focused and learning.
