Weber State's J.C. Oram (6-4, 310 Jr. OG) Named Second Team Pre-Season All-America by The Sports Ne Add Comment Aug 06, 2010
The Sports Network, which sponsors the NCAA Division I FCS Walter Payton, Buck Buchanan and Eddie Robinson Awards, has released its 2010 Division I FCS Pre-Season All-America teams.
Twelve players from the Big Sky Conference were selected to the three teams. Weber State University guard J.C. Oram (6-4, 310 Junior / Slaterville, Utah / Fremont HS) was selected to the Second Team offense. It is the second time this season Oram has been named to a pre-season All-America team. Last month he was named Second Team by Phil Steeles Football Preview Magazine.
Six players from the Big Sky Conference were named to the First Team, which included nearly the entire backfield. Northern Arizonas Michael Herrick was named at quarterback. Eastern Washingtons Taiwan Jones and Montanas Chase Reynolds were named running backs.
On defense, Big Sky First Teamers included Christian Clark (DE-Sacramento State), J.C. Sherritt (LB-Eastern Washington) and Trumaine Johnson (CB-Montana).
