     Weber State womens track and field coach, Jim Blaisdell, has added 13 new athletes to his roster for the 2010-11 indoor and outdoor track and field seasons. 

     Five of the 13 new athletes coming in are current or former state champions in their events. 

     This is a great group of talented athletes, both on the field and in the classroom, said Blaisdell. We lacked a little depth this past season but this group will fill many of those voids. As always, we have worked hard to sign the best Utah high school athletes and to get the best athletes from the surrounding states and we accomplished that goal. This group, along with our returning athletes, should bring us back into contention for the Big Sky Conference championships.

     Chloe Calton was the 2008 Utah Class 3A state champion in the 800 and 1,600 meters and joins high school teammate, Sarah Callister, on the Wildcat roster. ...   Stephanie Jenkins is the 2010 Utah Class 4A Discus champion. ...    Lorin Killpack is the 2010 Utah Class 3A 100 meters champion. ...  Samantha Morris is the 2009 and 2010 Utah Class 4A Long Jump champion and Karen Wilkinson is the 2010 Utah Class 4A Discus champion.
